“I have one pet peeve in the world, and it comes from the horrors of my Catholic school education, where girls more often than not wore skirts. I don’t care if you have very smooth legs from exfoliating, shaving, and moisturizing. I don’t care if you have burly mountain man hair from not shaving your legs for two months. Please do NOT grab my hand and rub it on your legs, asking me to feel the status of your leg hair! The appropriate reaction being a coo of delight at the softness, or perhaps fake vomit noises at the stubble of leg forest. Believe it or not, this happened to me as often as four times a day and, though my school uniform days are long behind me, I feel for the young, schoolgirl Anne the Interns who are out there suffering.”
Serving a summer stint as a Hallmark humor writer, Anne the Intern has a penchant for cutting her own hair with wild abandonment.
