Really funny. This is a typical I-geek. Must worship all things apple! I wouldn’t been seen out with anything apple. Freaks from nowhere just appear and start talking to you because you have an apple. I have seen them do it, its scary.

Grunty Pages on January 14th, 2009 10:56 am

MS Windows Virus...I mean Vista on January 14th, 2009 11:17 am

Good Stuff!!!
I thought Genius was great the first time. After several uses I find it really Stupid. I will pick a band like In Flames or Devildriver (both HEAVY METAL) and it will match them up Pink, Aerosmith, and motown. WTF???
Hopefully it will get better.

FunkySouth on January 14th, 2009 11:18 am

thats well done ! the i-geeks will not be pleased !

tech mogo on January 14th, 2009 11:23 am

Jose Mendonca on January 14th, 2009 11:34 am

Hehe, very funny. I actually never use the smart lists. Useless for me :)

vagrantsoul on January 14th, 2009 11:35 am

… it’s a pale comparison in accuracy to pandora, feels like a knock off or a lobotomized transplant of it…

Jon on January 14th, 2009 11:46 am

That’s really not how it works though. kbye.

Brenelz on January 14th, 2009 11:58 am

Am I the only one who doesn’t really like ITunes, I prefer using other programs – winamp for example is great.

Glen Richardson on January 14th, 2009 1:46 pm

Really tickled me!!! Keep it up ;-)

MS Windows Virus...I mean Vista on January 14th, 2009 2:02 pm

I’ve been using iTunes on the PC since the 1st version. It was the only one that could handle my 75GB of mp3′s. It was slow to open but it handled my library fine.

Snapple on January 14th, 2009 3:51 pm

itunes was the only one that could handle your 75gb’s of mp3′s? Did you even try winamp? I think not as it handles my collection just fine….

Amarok rules all.

name on January 14th, 2009 4:07 pm

@Television Voyeur: I’m totally with you on that one. I’ve been using Winamp for as long as I can remember (since about 1999)

MavereX on January 14th, 2009 4:35 pm

Actually, Winamp handles my 90GB of mp3′s perfectly, and it has handles such large amounts since 2.0

Bame Xijo on January 14th, 2009 7:35 pm

Hilarious joke about AI bots.
They actually work the same way as the comic portrays them. Only that they suggest weird things that seem out of the place.

Great a newer look to iTune.

NVPir8 on January 15th, 2009 7:54 pm

iTunes blows. I think they may have ripped off Pandora.com. Genius my ass!

Andrew Ryan on January 16th, 2009 12:35 am

You’re horrible at making things.

.

Macmonger on January 16th, 2009 1:05 pm

Thats like saying google groups the results by similar website type. An algorithm is a living breathing thing. It changes based on your user input, apples input and the itunes community input.

Why else would it put. Fiddler on the Roof, Type-O Negative and The Beatles in my genius list. I love them all, and they’re nothing alike.

MousE on January 16th, 2009 1:09 pm

Great cartoon, thank you!

george on January 17th, 2009 2:58 am

it actually doesn’t just use genres, cuz it will group even unlabeled songs..

Chris on January 18th, 2009 2:20 am

Haha that’s epic.

Ezzal on January 20th, 2009 3:52 am

Cool Ha Ha Ha

Pharaoh on January 20th, 2009 6:50 pm

Genius sucks. It doesn’t account for BPM, genre or era.

A Few Random Thoughts - Tim Monzon on January 23rd, 2009 2:41 am

[...] I love making music playlists. My musical moods change so often, I need different playlists to cater to my needs. On that note, however, I would like to emphasize just how much iTunes blows. Winamp is so much more awesome, a heck of  a lot more lightweight, and far more customizeable. I just found out customizable can be spelled with either the “e” or without it. Strange. However, in iTunes’ defense, I find their Genius Playlist feature extremely intelligent. Maybe a little too smart. [...]

matt on January 24th, 2009 11:27 pm

LOL

Goldwing Guy on January 30th, 2009 6:29 pm

lol this is hilarious. wonder how long till apple gets their “patent” for this feature

Zuluu on February 3rd, 2009 7:55 pm
